She’s debuted some adventurous hair-styles over recent months. But Scarlett Johansson seems to be keeping her new red locks under wraps in NYC on Wednesday. The 30-year-old actress kept her hair firmly hidden under a fedora as she headed to Madison Square Gardens with her husband Romain Dauriac to see U2 play live.
The Avengers star kept her appearance low-key, arriving make-up free in round-framed sunglasses. Her curvy figure was hidden underneath a rather unflattering long grey jersey dress, which added a couple of slits to flash her legs. She finished off her look with a clumpy pair of open sandals from Robert Clergerie, and black ruck-sack thrown over one shoulder.
Her advertising executive husband followed behind the star, wearing a maroon jacket and cropped length trousers. The couple were obviously enjoying a night off from looking after their daughter Dorothy Rose, who will turn 1 in September. U2 have an enormous A-List following, so it was no surprise to see Scarlett also joined by Alicia Keys, who arrived for the concert in a multi-coloured outfit.
Clearly Alicia got the memo about covering their hair – as she also had opted to hide her hair – wearing a scarf on her head. The 34-year-old Empire State Of Mind singer opted for a rocky combo of t-shirt and skinny jeans. She added some platform trainers which no doubt added a number of inches to the 5’6″ singer’s height. The Dublin rockers are playing eight shows in the City as the final US stop of their world tour.
