She’s set to reprise her role as Black Widow in the forthcoming film, Captain America: Civil War. And Scarlett Johansson appeared to be channelling the hot superhero on Wednesday, as she arrived at The Late Show With Stephen Colbert in New York City. The 30-year-old actress showed off her trim waist in a black Michael Kors leather and crepe jumpsuit, reminiscent of the costume she wears in the Avengers and Captain America films.
The mother-of-one teamed her ensemble with a funky pair of black and gold cut-out stilettos. The blonde beauty styled her short strands into a straight ‘do and accentuated her plump pout with a wine slick. Scarlett also brightened up her fair complexion with a rose-coloured rouge, as her eyes were concealed with speckled grey plastic-rimmed sunglasses.
The Lost In Translation star, who is married to Romain Dauriac, kept her accessories to a minimum, sporting studded earrings and a couple gold bangles. Meanwhile, Forbes recently reported that Scarlett ranked number 2 in its list of the world’s highest paid actresses – pulling in $35.5 million from June 2014 to June 2015.
After reprising her role as Black Widow in this summer’s Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Scarlett will take on that same role in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. The actress is slated for other exciting projects to come as well, including a leading role alongside George Clooney, Channing Tatum and others in the forthcoming comedy from the Coen brothers Hail, Caesar!
After that, she’ll voice Kaa the python in Jon Favreau’s upcoming animated adaptation of 1967’s The Jungle Book. The projects are sure to keep lining up for the stunning star, who welcomed her first child, daughter Rose Dorothy Dauriac, in September 2014.
In a recent interview with director and writer Woody Allen, the 79-year-old admitted that one of the main reasons he makes films is because he loves ‘looking at beautiful women’ – including ScarJo. ‘I go to work in the morning and… there’s Emma Stone looking like she’s a goddess, there’s Scarlett or Naomi.’Scarlett has been in multiple Woody Allen projects, such as Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Match Point, and Scoop.
