She spent time chatting to fans at the Avengers: Endgame fan event on Wednesday. And continuing her blazing promotional tour for the action-packed finale, Scarlett Johansson made a chic arrival at the film’s photocall held at Corinthia hotel. The 34-year-old actress, who stars as the Black Widow in the hit franchise, appeared in high spirits as she posed for snaps at the London location on Thursday morning.
She teamed the dress with a pair of suede ankle boots which were adorned with silver buckles as decoration and featured a daring heel, giving her frame added inches. Scarlett opted for a dramatic make-up look, including a bold purple smokey-eye which perfectly tied her look together with the pop of colour.
Scarlett otherwise accentuated her natural beauty with soft touches of foundation and a glossy lip, while sweeping her blonde tresses off her face and wearing her locks in a loose chignon. The Lucy actress kept her accessories to a minimum, simply styling her look with a pair of quirky black and silver statement drop earrings. As she walked the blue carpet at the event on Wednesday, Scarlett told MailOnline that she hopes die-hard fans are satisfied with the film, as it brings a story spread over a decade of films to an epic conclusion.
She said: ‘Gosh you know I hope that this movie is cathartic for people. I think the last film, Infinity War, was so shocking. ‘I mean when the Russos and Kevin Feige pitched me the idea of the snap I was like woah that’s brave, I mean where do you go from there? ‘I couldn’t imagine how, the Russos always say they like to write themselves into a corner and then figure out how they’re going to work their way out of it, which is so cool.
‘So I hope that this movie is surprising for people, I think it really will and I’m hoping people will have all their feelings. So many feelings, it’s awesome. It’s so exciting to be a part of something that people are pumped for and I think, I hope, it will deliver.’ The Hollywood superstar added: ‘I think I’m going to be really pumped, hopefully bittersweet satisfaction.
‘That’s what I’m hoping everybody feels, that’s the kind of feeling I like to be left with when I see a movie is that sort of in-between feeling where you maybe want more of something else but it is the way it is, and it has to be that way – that sort of feeling.’
