She tied the knot with husband Colin Jost last year. And Scarlett Johansson talked about her marriage with the comedian, 38, during a virtual interview on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. Jimmy congratulated the actress, 36, on her marriage and quizzed her about if they agree over the best pizza place in NYC as they’re both ‘life-long New Yorkers’.
The host said: ‘Thank you so much for coming on the show. I haven’t seen you since you got married. Congratulations. ‘I wanted to – there’s many questions I want to ask, but a couple questions if you don’t mind about you and Colin. ‘We love Colin Jost and we know you’re both life long new yorkers do you ever argue over pizza in New York, where to get the best pizza?’
Scarlett replied: ‘Oh, yeah, well, you know Colin is from Staten Island, so that means something. ‘You know, he’s very specific about his slice. Where, you know, he’ll definitely tell you the best slice is in Staten Island.’ The actress continued: ‘I respectfully disagree. I am from Manhattan, and are you asking where my favorite slice is from? ‘I got to say by the slice, I really love Joe’s pizza.’
To which Jimmy said: ‘That’s what I’m talking about. I would say for a whole pie though, I got to go with Lombardi’s I love Lombardi’s.’ Scarlett tied the knot with Colin last year while the world was in lockdown amid the COVID-19 pandemic and has said she strived to create a ceremony that was supposed to be intimate, rather than something that felt ‘restricted’ by lockdown rules.
‘I think just keeping it intimate and small made it feel intentional,’ she said to People Magazine. ‘We wanted it to feel like it had an intentional intimacy as opposed to being something that felt like we were restricted by all these things.’
