She documents a huge portion of her life on social media. And on Monday, makeup-free Dua Lipa, 26, displayed her slender frame in a skimpy blue bikni as she filmed herself eating a pepper-sprinkled watermelon.
The New Rules singer took to her Instagram Stories where she uploaded the clip, which showed how she’d tied the straps of her bikni top tied to ensure minimal tan lines.
The short video showed Dua seasoning a slice of the colourful fruit, before chomping down and winking at the camera. Her damp raven tresses were roughly tied up atop her head, and Dua showed off her natural beauty by going fresh faced for her time in the sun.
It comes after she received a marriage proposal from devoted super-fan while performing on her Future Nostalgia world tour. In a video which has been doing the rounds on TikTok, Dua can be seen strutting her stuff on stage in a sparkly silver leotard and matching ankle boots.
Spotting the man in the crowd she says: ‘I’m trying to read your t-shirt, what does it say? It says ‘Marry me Dula peep’,’ in reference to a nickname the fan had given her.
She can be seen giggling while the crowd goes wild at the request, before the superstar goes on to say: ‘Unfortunately I can’t marry you, but I can dedicate this song to you if you’d like?’
The man with the t-shirt says: ‘For me?’, to which she responds: ‘For you.’ The Grammy winner then playfully gets on her knees and dances as she launches into her next song, ‘Good In Bed’. The man in the t-shirt on Tik Tok who refers to himself as ‘Dula Peep Guy’ also uploaded a clip of what happened.
And it’s been a busy time for Dua, who visited Kosovo last weekend following being named an Honorary Ambassador in a ceremony at the Office of the President in Pristina.
Dua moved to Pristina with her family after Kosovo declared independence in 2008, but returned to London at the age of 15 to pursue a career in music.
The award-winning pop star said it was an ‘honour and a privilege’ to represent her home country and promised to use her platform to ‘make a difference’ to the independent nation.
She took to social media to share pictures from the ceremony as she was awarded with the honour by President Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu in front of her proud parents Anesa and Dukagjin.
