There may be some Addams Family spin-offs on the way after the success of Wednesday. With Tim Burton as a producer, Wednesday vaulted into becoming a hit show. Featuring some brilliant examples of dark comedy, the show stars Jenna Ortega as the titular Wednesday Addams. After she commits attempted murder at school, she earns herself a place at the impressive Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts.

What Other Addams Family Members Could Get Their Own Show?
While Wednesday awaits a season 2 renewal, Netflix has also given good reason to wait for a potential spin-off. If it really does spawn a series of spin-offs, there are several different shows that could easily prove to be extraordinary concepts. First and foremost would be a show featuring Gomez and Morticia Addams during their own time at Nevermore. Wednesday explores their history well, as the mystery of the murder of Garrett Gates centers on Morticia and Gomez, but there has to be more of their story. A full-length spin-off could perfectly show off more about the characters and their adventures.
It would also be interesting to see a Pugsley show. The youngest member of the family, Pugsley didn’t have much of a chance to earn acclaim in Wednesday. He starts the show stuffed in a locker and, with Wednesday insisting that he become stronger, he is left behind to the mercy of his bullies. A parallel series showing off those early days without his sister to defend him could offer Pugsley the chance for a lot of growth, which could be great for the character.
