Hospitals in West Virginia and Florida staged costumed photo shoots featuring the newest babies to provide holiday pleasure to new parents as deliciously sweet fowl.
We wanted to do something special for the parents so they would remember it fondly. Women’s programmes director Katana Jackson as well as the children’s services at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, West Virginia.
She claims that the parents love it. The amount of thought and attention that went into these images has surprised and astounded them.
Since the parents get to retain the costumes, the Christmas effort, which started last year, is a joyful surprise for unwary parents.
According to Jackson, the occasion is a step up from the hospital’s customary newborn photographs, which feature infants donning pink or blue T-shirts.
Due to certain parents’ pending naming decisions, the hospital was unable to reveal the identities of the newborn models. Some babies were born today! said a hospital spokesperson.
“Families and hospital staff have said it’s a lovely way to celebrate having a new baby and a special “first Thanksgiving” moment,” the representative continues. “It made coming to work even more exciting for staff and brought a smile to parents’ faces.”
